Florida-based Company Creates CO2 Absorbing Additive That Can Turn Regular Concrete into a Carbon Sink
The concrete additive transforms regular concrete into a version that actively captures carbon dioxide pollution from the air.
The company aims to “remove a billion tons of CO2 pollution” with the technology, which has already been used in a US Department of Transportation paving project and won several sustainability awards.
