Ottawa, December 4, 2023: The Canadian Coatings Conference is the leading source for engaging with representatives of companies in all sectors: manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and allied industry groups. Conference business sessions will address the economic state of the industry in Canada and globally, new innovation and sustainability advancements, and regulatory developments impacting the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers (CASE) industry in Canada. Hosted by the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association (CPCA) whose mandate is to advocate for fair regulations that are evidence-based, rooted in science, and takes into consideration impacts on industry, the environment, and the economy.

CPCA is pleased to announce this year’s Canadian Coatings Conference will be held at the William Gray Hotel in the heart of Old Montréal where guests will be surrounded by the historic charm and the best Montréal has to offer in culinary delights.

As CPCA prepares its roster of speakers this year, President & CEO, Gary LeRoux issues a call to the industry: “A ‘Whole of Industry‘ approach is now needed as we look ahead to the regulatory developments anticipated for 2024. The Canadian Coatings Conference provides those working in the CASE industry with the information needed to not only navigate the Canadian regulatory landscape but to help sustain business success in a highly regulated sector.”  CPCA’s Chair of the Board of Directors, Darrin Noble, President & COO, Cloverdale Paint added: “By definition, everything the Association does benefits the entire industry, not just the membership, and the hope is that more in the industry or adjacent industries become members going forward.” The Canadian Coatings Conference offers an elevated experience and networking opportunities that yield long-lasting business relationships.

The Conference is held throughout one and a half days, beginning on Wednesday where CPCA will convene with its Board of Directors Meeting in the afternoon, followed by a Welcome Reception for all guests in the evening. The following day begins with a breakfast taken at guests’ leisure, with plenary sessions starting at 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Lunch is served from noon until 1:00 p.m. The event is capped with CPCA’s Annual Chair Awards Dinner where attendees enjoy a three-course table d’hôte dinner among colleagues and friends.

Registration for the Conference will open on January 1, 2024.
