Sherwin-Williams Announces Its 2022 Color Collection of the Year and Releases New Flooring Color Palettes

Aleutian, the Sherwin-Williams 2022 Color of the Year, is a washed indigo that helps create a space for refuge. The new  Softened Refuge Color Collection encourages simplicity and comfort with colour. Available exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide and on Lowes.com, the designer-inspired Colour Collection of the Year includes 10 complementary colours.

Sherwin also reported four new flooring palettes that reflect the latest trends in commercial décor for healthcare, education and retail, as well as stadiums, arenas, showrooms and airports, among other decorative applications. They are part of Sherwin-Williams High-Performance Flooring, which recently announced a newly organized product portfolio and new global website. The new colour palettes may be applied not only to commercial floors but also to industrial floors that require visual appeal, such as pharmaceutical plants. They also reflect colours found in the company’s 2022 Colormix Forecast, with hues inspired by the earth, sky and sea, as well as other influences.
