Tnemec Announces 2018 Tank of the Year

Tank of the Year

Since 2006, Tnemec has celebrated the innovative and creative uses of its coatings on water tanks with the annual Tank of the Year contest. Each year, tanks of all varieties from across the U.S. and Canada are narrowed down to determine the most impressive coatings projects in the water tank industry.

To nominate your favorite tank for the 2018 Tank of the Year contest, fill out the nomination form. All entries are due by October 1.

All nominations will be placed online for voting to determine the People’s Choice tank. The winner of the popular vote will then be considered for the official Tank of the Year crown alongside 11 other Tnemec-determined runners-up.

Last year’s Tank of the Year winner was Destin, Florida. With a wrap-around motif depicting the warm, sandy beaches of Florida’s Emerald Coast, the elevated water tank in Destin was artfully painted in 2017 using high-performance Tnemec coatings to help with extended color and gloss retention.
