CCA is very pleased to announce that Terri Stewart will join the Canadian Coatings Association as our new Vice-President, Regulatory Affairs, effective October 14.
Terri is an exceptional leader with more than 20 years of experience in the chemistry sector. She joins us from CropLife Canada, where she most recently served as Executive Director, Chemistry. Prior to that, she spent nearly 17 years at the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) in senior scientific and regulatory roles, gaining a deep understanding of Canada’s regulatory system.
Terri’s career has been defined by credibility, collaboration, and results. Well-connected with regulators and widely respected across Ottawa, she brings instant credibility and influence to CCA. She is also an outstanding communicator, relationship-builder, and leader who combines technical expertise with strategic vision.
Terri holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Biology from University College of Cape Breton and an M.Sc. in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph and has completed an executive leadership program at Harvard Business School. During her public service career, she twice received the PMRA Executive Director’s Award for Excellence in Leadership as well as the Award for Excellence in Sustainable Pest Management.
